A few years ago Covid took the lot, from financial success to gone. Over a number of months the pressure was huge. I spent weeks waking up at four in the morning, a husk of a man, putting on the performance that everything was fine.
There was a morning shortly after my 50th birthday when I didn’t want to be here any more. What stopped me was the thought of my wife, my two boys and my family. I couldn’t do that to them.
The fact that I’d even had that thought scared me enough to look into the numbers. That’s when I discovered that 1,521 men a day take their own lives.
A big part of my healing was men’s groups. So I wanted to create something that normalised them all over the world. The series is free, and it stays free, because the men who need it most often can’t pay for anything. Complete Access is how the men who can pay keep the whole thing alive for the ones who can’t.
